TCU vs. Texas Longhorns
The Texas Longhorns played against the Texas Christian University Horned Frogs on February 2, 2013 at the Frank Erwin Center. This was the first time Texas had played TCU in basketball as a Big 12 opponent. Before the game, the Texas fans welcomed TCU to the Big 12 with a wave of applause. Texas was led by Ioannis Papapetrou who had 13 points, 9 rebounds, 3 Assists, 1 steal, and 2 blocks on the night. Cameron Ridley had 3 blocks in the first 12 minutes and 4 total. Texas held TCU to 33% shooting. Texas won 60-43.
